With more than 28 years experience in teaching more than twelve languages, the „World of Languages“ offers Tailor-Made courses "à la Carte" with native speakers teachers for the education of adults, based on their own specifically developed teaching method: This does not impose teaching material and learning techniques on the students, “but on the contrary, together with the student find the most suitable material and learning method to be applied in the courses“.
Following their conviction that the main learn-objective is communikation - "communication is your key to success" and this objective is achieved fastest and most efficiently, when the langauge is practised in the context of real-life situations which have a direct relevance to the situation of the student.
The lessons take place in our premises at Stauffacher, 10 mins walk from the Zurich main station, at your home or at your place of work using one of our mobile teachers or to the on-line service Skype / Zoom, an e-learning format we have used for many years with only positive results.

Private lessons
Language lessons exactly according to your requirements. You choose the subjects which interest you. This way you are much more motivated and so make progress faster.
Company classes
Company classes for improving your Business English, your German or Swiss German. Special Swiss German courses for new arrivals who wish to integrate better into their new environment.
Sprachencafé & Conversation
Using the language often presents a barrier which has to be overcome. Thanks to regular training in discussion groups one quickly gains confidence to make use of what one has learnt.
Small group lessons
In small groups it is easier to participate and so make progress more quickly. The teacher can recognise weaknesses and apply improvements where necessary. Also individual subject matter can be introduced.
German - intensive
You want to learn German as quickly as possible? Then our German intensive course is exactly what you are looking for. With three lessons weekly you remain in the subject matter and so arrive at your objective quickly.
Swiss German
Schwiizerdüütsch - is a dialect many German speakers do not understand properly. But so that you can chat with colleagues in the breaks or friends in dialect it makes sense to learn to speak Swiss German.
